What's in Reia's Designer Diamond Earrings Collection

Designer diamond earrings are earrings designed with a distinct point of view, not just a stone on a post. Every pair here is designed in-house, set with real diamonds and made in real gold.

There is no silver, no platinum and no simulant stone in the collection. What changes from pair to pair is how close the earring sits to the ear, how much it moves, and how much diamond it carries.

Four ways the collection breaks down:

  • Everyday pairs: solitaire studs, cluster studs and huggies that sit close and catch on nothing

  • Statement pairs: drops, danglers and chandelier designs that move and catch light

  • Contemporary pairs: ear climbers, jackets and sculptural hoops for a modern ear

  • Heritage-inspired pairs: diamond jhumkas and Victorian-style designs for weddings and festivals

Diamonds are mostly round brilliant, with pear, marquise, emerald, oval, princess, cushion, heart and baguette cuts, where the design is built around the shape. Use the filters above to narrow by style, shape, gold colour or budget.

Modern Designer Lab-Grown Diamond Earrings: Choosing by How You'll Wear Them

Style names matter less than three questions: how close it sits, how much it moves, and how much it weighs.

Studs and huggies

A stud sits flat on the earlobe; a huggie is a small hoop that hugs it. These are the most elegant lab-grown diamond earrings for everyday wear.

They suit office days, travel and long weekends, and they work with Western and Indian outfits alike. A pair of solitaire studs is the one diamond piece most people end up wearing every single day.

What to check: the back. Screw-backs are the most secure for solitaire studs; push-lock backs are quicker to put on. Huggies need a clean hinge that clicks firmly shut.

Hoops

A hoop is a circle or open curve of gold, set with diamonds along the front or all the way round. Small hoops wear like huggies; larger ones become the focus of the outfit.

They suit everyday wear in smaller sizes and evenings in larger ones. Diamond-set hoops catch light from every angle as you turn your head.

What to check: diameter and thickness. A wide, heavy hoop pulls on the lobe over a full day, so check gross weight on the product page.

Drops and danglers

A drop hangs a diamond or cluster just below the lobe; a dangler hangs longer and moves more. These are the pairs that make a face look lit up in photographs.

They suit weddings, receptions, festive evenings, and anywhere you'll wear your hair up. Pear and marquise shapes look especially good here because they elongate the line.

What to check: length against your neck and hairstyle, and weight. Anything long and heavy needs a lever-back or screw-back closure.

Ear climbers and jackets

A climber runs up the edge of the ear from the lobe; a jacket adds a second element behind or below the lobe. These are the most modern designer lab-grown diamond earrings in the collection.

They suit anyone who wants one striking pair instead of several piercings. Many climbers need only a single standard piercing.

What to check: ear shape. Climbers sit differently on every ear, so try them on in store or check the product photos on a model.

Diamond jhumkas and heritage designs

A jhumka is a traditional bell-shaped Indian earring; Reia's versions are set with diamonds in gold. Victorian-inspired and chandelier designs sit in the same family.

They suit weddings, festivals and family functions, and pair naturally with sarees and lehengas. A diamond jhumka gives you a traditional silhouette that also works with a modern outfit.

What to check: weight and support. Heavier heritage pairs can be worn with ear chains (sahare) to take weight off the lobe.

How to Choose Lab-Grown Diamond Earrings

Which gold colour?

Three colours, all BIS-hallmarked: yellow, white and rose, in 14KT or 18KT, depending on the design.

  • Yellow gold is the traditional Indian choice and the easiest to match with the gold you already wear.

  • White gold keeps near-colourless diamonds looking bright and icy. It's rhodium-plated, and the plating is refreshed periodically as normal care.

  • Rose gold has a soft, warm tone that flatters most skin tones.

If your earrings will sit next to a necklace or a nose pin you wear daily, match that metal.

Lab-grown diamond earrings for women: which shape suits your face?

Earrings frame the face, so shape matters as much as size.

  • Round or full face: drops and danglers add length; avoid large round hoops.

  • Long or oval face: studs, huggies and medium hoops add width.

  • Heart-shaped face: drops that widen at the bottom balance a narrower chin.

  • Square face: curved shapes like hoops and pear drops soften the jawline.

This is a guide, not a rule. If you love a pair, wear it.

How heavy is too heavy?

Check the gross weight on each product page. Studs and huggies weigh very little and are suitable for all-day wear. Large drops, chandeliers, and jhumkas weigh more, so keep them for occasions or support them with ear chains.

Which closure?

  • Screw-back: the most secure, best for solitaire studs you don't want to lose

  • Push-lock: quick and secure for everyday use

  • Lever-back or hinged: best for drops, danglers and huggies

Shopping by budget

Use the price filter above. Earrings start just under ₹20,000.

  • Under ₹25,000: small studs and huggies

  • ₹25,000 to ₹50,000: larger studs, cluster studs, small hoops and drops

  • ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000: solitaire studs, diamond hoops, statement drops

  • Above ₹1,00,000: larger solitaires, chandeliers, jhumkas and bridal pairs

Rule of thumb: put your budget into the pair you'll wear most often.

Buying earrings as a gift

Earrings are one of the safest diamond gifts: there's no size to get wrong. Solitaire studs and huggies suit almost everyone. Check that the person has pierced ears, and choose a metal that matches what they already wear. Reia's [gifting collection] groups pieces by occasion.

Why Choose Lab-Grown Diamond Earrings

A laboratory-grown diamond is a diamond grown in a controlled environment rather than mined. It is the same material: carbon in the same crystal structure, 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, with the same optical and physical properties, graded by the same independent laboratories.

It is not a simulant. Cubic zirconia and moissanite are different materials entirely.

Three things follow for earrings:

  • A matched pair is easier. Earrings need two stones that match each other closely in size, colour and clarity. Consistent supply makes a well-matched pair easier to achieve.

  • More diamonds for the budget. Laboratory-grown diamonds generally cost considerably less than mined stones of comparable size and grade. That's what puts larger solitaire studs and diamond hoops within reach. It's a market observation, not a guarantee; prices move with size, grade and supply.

  • They keep their sparkle. Earrings take less wear than rings, but they still meet hair products, perfume and phone screens. Diamond hardness keeps them bright.

On the environment, some honesty is due. Laboratory-grown diamonds need no mining, but growing them is energy-intensive, and the real footprint depends on how the facility is powered. Reia doesn't claim zero impact.

Premium Lab-Grown Diamond Earrings for Women: Reading the Quality

Premium means the same online as in store: the diamond grade, the gold purity and the certificate that proves both.

The 4Cs

What matters in earrings

Cut

Decides how much the earrings sparkle from across a room. In cluster and pavé designs, consistent cut across every stone matters as much as any single grade

Colour

Reia’s standard for white diamonds is EF, the near-colourless top of the scale. In pair, both stones must match; a colour differenceshows immediately side by side.

Clarity

Reia’s standard is VVS. Inclusions at this grade are invisible without magnification

Carat

For a pair, listings usually show total carat weight across both earring. A “1 carat” pair of studs is typically two o.050-carat stones

Certification: Every pair ships with its jewellery certificate, and the gold is BIS-hallmarked for purity. Diamonds are IGI or SDI certified. IGI still issues full 4Cs reports for laboratory-grown diamonds. Small accent stones in pavé and cluster settings are not individually certified; that's standard across fine jewellery.

Pricing: diamonds are priced at a flat ₹35,000 per carat, scaling in a straight line. A pair of studs with 0.50 carats in total carries ₹17,500 of diamond value; 1.0 carats total is ₹35,000. The final price adds gold weight and making charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1 What are designer lab-grown diamond earrings?

Earrings designed in-house and set with diamonds grown in a controlled environment rather than mined. The diamonds are chemically and structurally identical to mined diamonds and graded on the same scale. Every Reia pair is set in BIS-hallmarked 14KT or 18KT gold.

Q.2 Are lab-grown diamond earrings real diamonds?

Yes. Laboratory-grown diamonds are carbon in the same crystal structure as mined diamonds, with the same hardness and sparkle. Cubic zirconia and moissanite are simulants, different materials that only look similar.

Q.3 How do I buy designer lab-grown diamond earrings online in India?

Filter the collection above by style, shape, gold and budget, then check the total carat weight, gold purity, closure and certificate on each product page. Order online with prepaid or Cash on Delivery; in-stock pairs ship within five working days.

Q. 4 What are the best designer lab-grown diamond earrings for women?

Solitaire studs are the most-worn pair, followed by diamond huggies and small hoops. For occasions, pear drops and diamond jhumkas give the most impact. Start with one everyday pair, then add a statement pair.

Q.5 Which lab-grown diamond earrings are best for everyday wear?

Studs and huggies. They sit close to the ear, weigh very little and don't catch on hair or clothing. Choose a screw-back or push-lock closure for extra security.

Q.6 Does the carat weight on earrings mean per earring or per pair?

Usually per pair. A listing showing 1 carat typically means two 0.50-carat diamonds, one in each earring. Check the product page for the exact split.

Q.7 What certificate comes with Reia earrings?

Every pair ships with its jewellery certificate, and the gold carries a BIS hallmark confirming purity. Diamonds are IGI or SDI certified. Small accent stones in pavé and clusters aren't individually certified, which is standard in fine jewellery.

Q.8 Can I get earrings made to match my engagement ring or bridal set?

Yes. Share the ring or set, and Reia's team designs earrings in the same gold, diamond shape and style. You approve a free CAD visual before anything is made.

Q.9 Are heavy diamond earrings safe for my ears?

Check the gross weight on the product page. Studs and huggies suit all-day wear. For heavier drops, chandeliers and jhumkas, wear them for occasions and use ear chains to support the weight.

Q.10 How should I care for diamond earrings?

Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush bring back the sparkle. Put earrings on after perfume and hairspray, check that closures are tight every few weeks, and store each pair separately so the stones don't scratch other jewellery.
